CUSTOM STATIONERY DESIGN

JESS & MIKE | SAVE THE DATE'S

Typically I like to photograph entire wedding suites together - Save The Date and Invitation all at once.  But this Save The Date...it's just so special, it HAD to have it's own photoshoot.  Jess & Mike are getting married in Rehoboth Beach, DE in the fall.  Jess wanted to keep her 'ocean blue' color palette in mind for her stationery and didn't want it to be too overly 'beachy'.  What we came up with is this totally unique folded Save The Date card.

Jess wanted her guests to be able to keep their photo.  You usually see a couple's engagement photo printed directly on the save the date and then the whole card is chucked in the recycling bin when the invite arrives.  So, the save the date was designed to accommodate photo corners - we simply placed a 4x6 photo into the corners and now her guests will be able to keep their photo for years to come.

And a surprise behind the photo!  A sweet little message of anticipation!

Matching printed envelopes for the win!

Creating this Save The Date for this sweet couple was so much fun.  Stay tuned to see what we come up with for their invitation suite!

SIMON'S 70TH INVITATIONS

When Emily contacted me asking for help with a birthday invitation suite for her family friends' 70th birthday, I was excited.  Designing something masculine is a fun break from all the curly, swirly wedding designs - which there is nothing wrong with at all! But it's fun to challenge myself every once in a while to do something completely different.  For this suite, the design we came up with was simple and classic and tied in a bit of Simon's engineering background as well!
