CUSTOM STATIONERY DESIGN

CELINE & DEAN | WEDDING STATIONERY

Celine & Dean got married on a charming vineyard in Glen Mills, PA called The Inn at Grace Winery. Celine reached out to me, seemingly forever ago, and wanted to get to work on some Save the Dates. When she told me that she wanted to somehow include her sweet black lab, Sophie, in the design, I knew we were going to make a great team. Nothing I love better than working with dogs! She was planning to send her Save The Dates just a few weeks before Christmas - so she also wanted them to double as a Christmas card. Challenge accepted! What we came up with was a hand painted portrait of Sophie the lab with a red bow tied around her neck and some simple greenery framing the words. This design set the tone for the rest of Celine & Dean’s stationery.

For their Invitation suite - again Celine wanted to keep it clean, simple and a little bit rustic. She also wanted to somehow include the Inn from her venue. I did a watercolor illustration of the Inn and included some of the greenery from the Save The Date design and what we came up with was a simple, rustic stunner. The three piece suite included the Invite card, an RSVP card and a Details card with a hand painted map of the area surrounding The Inn at Grace Winery. Each suite was packaged together with the most beautiful piece of hand-dyed, silk ribbon with a white wax seal on top. We used custom stamps for both the mailing envelopes and the RSVP envelopes to keep the theme consistent.

After we finished up the invitation suite - we moved on to the day of pieces! I created the menu’s, place cards, the thank you notes, labels for wine bottles and finally a simple card for each guests place setting that explained the donations that Celine & Dean made in place of favors.

From start to finish, this suite was truly so much fun to work on. Working with Celine & Dean was such a pleasure. You know how sometimes you just click with someone? And it’s kind of like you’ve always known each other? That’s totally what working with Celine was like. And I can never thank her and Dean enough for their patience and understanding as I was just beginning to navigate the waters as a working new mom. I couldn’t have asked for a better project and better people to work with!

LAURA & MATT'S VALLEY FORGE CASINO WEDDING

Blush was a huge theme this wedding season.  Add a bit of metallic gold ink and it really doesn't get any better than that!

Laura and Matt were looking for a wedding invitation that was simple yet elegant. I wanted to make sure that I captured both of those elements while making the design unique and memorable.  What we ultimately came up with is this light blush watercolor design with some hand painted splashes of metallic gold ink.  These invitations were printed in house and each was splattered with gold by hand in my studio.  This little touch of metallic really made these invites stand out!
