CUSTOM STATIONERY DESIGN

BRIDAL SHOW | DOWNINGTOWN COUNTRY CLUB

There is a great little boutique florist right down the street from our studio, Flowers by Jena Page.  She has the cutest shop full of great florals and so many other things that are always so hard to walk past and not buy!  Jena and Allie from Alexandria Catherine Events were prepping for a bridal show at Downingtown Country Club and asked if I would create some custom stationery pieces for them to include in their display at the show.  Of course I jumped at the opportunity and what we came up with is this beautiful, deep raspberry, rustic-modern invitation suite and dinner menu.

(And yes - the first two fictional names I thought of for this fictional suite were Lily and James.  I named my dog Sirius, what did you expect!?)

JESS & MIKE | WEDDING INVITATION SUITE

Jess & Mike are getting married this fall in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  Jess wanted to keep her, what we have dubbed "Pacific Blue", color theme in mind throughout all of her stationery.  And she didn't want anything to feel too overly "beachy".  If you'll recall, we created their Save The Dates just a few months ago with all of this information in mind.  We kept that theme rolling with their invitation suite.  So many charming details went into this suite - the gold foil, the hand drawn illustration of the blowing beach grass, the hand water colored map of the days events, the hand torn edges on every card and the package all tied together with gold rope and a gold wax seal.  All of these details made for one gorgeous suite.  It is light, airy, elegant, beachy (but not too beachy!), and most importantly, completely unique.

In my opinion - these photos don't do it justice.  I hope you get to see it in real life one day!

Pro Tip: we used metallic gold hot glue sticks instead of sealing wax for this suite.  Why?  For a few reasons, but the most important being that sealing wax is very brittle and can break easily, especially when the USPS is involved. &nbsp…

Pro Tip: we used metallic gold hot glue sticks instead of sealing wax for this suite.  Why?  For a few reasons, but the most important being that sealing wax is very brittle and can break easily, especially when the USPS is involved.  Also, we didn't want the wax to rub off any color on the RSVP card below.  So, we used hot glue sticks instead and it worked like a charm!
