KARA'S BABY SHOWER SUITE

Once upon a time, a darling Baby Shower Brunch was being planned.  The mom-to-be's sweet family reached out to me in hopes that I could help make their stationery vision for the shower come to life.  They were looking for something gender neutral.  Something that felt a bit English/Victorian.  And most importantly, something that was reminiscent of Beatrix Potter's illustrations in The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

Well, as soon as I heard that baby bunnies were to be included, I was all in.  What we came up with is this darling, hand illustrated and water colored invitation suite.  The baby bird and baby bunny are the anchors of the illustration, while the gold "frame" ties everything together and brings home that Victorian feel.  This suite included a invite card, a small (and incredibly cute) insert that asks guests to sign a book instead of a card, a hand water colored envelope liner, a little tag to tie around the party favors and a matching thank you card.

This suite was truly such a joy to work on and I'm so happy that I could help make this families stationery dreams a reality!

JESS & MIKE | WEDDING INVITATION SUITE

Jess & Mike are getting married this fall in Rehoboth Beach, DE.  Jess wanted to keep her, what we have dubbed "Pacific Blue", color theme in mind throughout all of her stationery.  And she didn't want anything to feel too overly "beachy".  If you'll recall, we created their Save The Dates just a few months ago with all of this information in mind.  We kept that theme rolling with their invitation suite.  So many charming details went into this suite - the gold foil, the hand drawn illustration of the blowing beach grass, the hand water colored map of the days events, the hand torn edges on every card and the package all tied together with gold rope and a gold wax seal.  All of these details made for one gorgeous suite.  It is light, airy, elegant, beachy (but not too beachy!), and most importantly, completely unique.

In my opinion - these photos don't do it justice.  I hope you get to see it in real life one day!

Pro Tip: we used metallic gold hot glue sticks instead of sealing wax for this suite.  Why?  For a few reasons, but the most important being that sealing wax is very brittle and can break easily, especially when the USPS is involved. &nbsp…

Pro Tip: we used metallic gold hot glue sticks instead of sealing wax for this suite.  Why?  For a few reasons, but the most important being that sealing wax is very brittle and can break easily, especially when the USPS is involved.  Also, we didn't want the wax to rub off any color on the RSVP card below.  So, we used hot glue sticks instead and it worked like a charm!
